New Faculty Orientation, 2011-2012

Fifteen first-year UNC Asheville faculty members attended the 2011 New Faculty Orientation, hosted by the CTL, on August 16th. After a welcome from Provost Jane Fernandes, participants were introduced to faculty resources available from the library, Teaching and Learning with Technology Resources, and the CTL. New Faculty Mentoring Program co-chairs Jason Wingert and Alice Weldon led a campus tour, and the academic deans provided an overview of campus structure and professional expectations. Chancellor Ponder closed the day with a late afternoon reception at Pisgah House. Please welcome this energetic and enthusiastic group, spanning all academic divisions, when you get the chance:
